BUDDHA DORDENMA Statue

We are proud to have one Giant statue of  Shakyamuni at our own place. The Kuenselphodrang or Buddha point has become fancy place especially because we have statue of Buddha measuring 51.5 meters. I heard is is one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world.

ATSARA

Atsaras are funny, bothersome, very annoying and but they are so witty. I know most of us know about Atsaras. I heard the name is derived from the name 'Acharaya' which is in Hindu called highly learned man. That is true in terms of Buddhism as well. Atsara should be mastered in any mask dances. They are the one who can correct the fellow dancers if they happened to have any mistakes during their performances.

I like the way they have this funny and sometimes brutal laughable nature in them. I know it is going to be annoying for some especially when you are with your families.But knowing the facts that it is no different than highly learned man we shall seek it's blessing.
